MQ Therapist Classes

The next Medical Qigong Therapist Certification Program in Nashville Tennessee
will begin January 3 and 4, 2015.

There are four classes plus a clinic in the Medical Qigong Therapist Certification Series. Each class consists of 5 days taught over three weekends. The prerequisite for these classes is completion of the Practitioner Level Medical Qigong training as taught by 5 Virtues Qigong or the International College of Medical Qigong or a similar program. The proctored clinical theater, internship and final exam is a five day program.

In addition, for certification from this program, there are required hours for Western Anatomy and Physiology, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Extra clinical hours. The entire Certification Program consists of 500 hours.

Classroom Hours: 272 hours

Medical Qigong Practitioner hours: 136

Therapist Lecture/classroom  hours: 128 (32 x 4)

Final Exam: 8 hours

Clinical Hours: 132 hours

Medical Qigong Clinical Hours: 72 hours

Clinical Theater, Internship: 24 hours

Clinical Externship: 36 hours

Extra Requirements: 150 hours

Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory – 50 hours

Western Anatomy and Physiology – 100 hours

Therapist 1: Advanced Diagnostics and Remote Treatments

Therapist 2: Dao Yin Therapy and Rectifying Qi deviations

Therapist 3: Introduction to Medical Qigong Therapy for Gynecology, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Neurology and Psychology

Therapist 4: Introduction to Medical Qigong for Oncology

Therapist 5: Clinical Theater, Written and Practical Exam
