Journaling the Labyrinth:
A mindful walk through Autumn

What are you harvesting now?
Are there seeds you've not yet planted?
What do you want to harvest?

Join Sarah Cherry, MMQ, Veriditas-Trained Labyrinth Facilitator and Ellen Rust, Certified Poetry Therapist/Writing Group Facilitator, as we explore the harvests of our lives. Information on the labyrinth as a sacred path and guided journaling experiences will deepen your walk on the beautiful 11-circuit Chartres Labyrinth at Penuel Ridge Retreat Center. This nurturing, meditative, natural environment surrounded by rolling hills is the perfect setting for a mindful walk through Autumn.

About Penuel Ridge

Penuel Ridge is a not-for-profit group who have 135 acres of lovely, rolling land, with a lake, meadows, woods, trails, and wildlife. On the land, we’ve built a straw bale chapel (The Well) and a hermitage (The Dorothy Day House). The Main Retreat House serves as a comfortable meeting, dining, and sleeping space.

We offer a quiet, hospitable setting to all who need time and space to relax, to be out-of-doors, to pray or play, or to seek guidance and clarity for their life journey. You may sit by the lake, walk the trails, browse the library, or simply “be” in the presence of God.

Sarah Cherry, MMQ, is a Veriditas-Trained labyrinth facilitator. She lectures in the Middle Tennessee area on the Labyrinth and works with individuals and groups to explore self-healing and group dynamics.  She builds labyrinths which she designs in accordance with sacred geometry specific to the place on the earth. By this method, the structure is in harmony with the earth, solar system and stars. The Labyrinth will therefore have the most beneficial effect on the human energy system to calm the mind and heal the body. She provided the sacred geometry for the Penuel Ridge Labyrinth and, with her team, oversaw its construction.

Sarah has a Masters Certification of Medical Qigong. She holds a private clinical practice and teaches Qigong in the Franklin Tennessee Area. Her web site is https://www.bodyandabodehealing.com.
